The first details of the next major Playstation system update, 3.00, have been seen online, thanks to beta testers who participated in the update early.
The headline of the upcoming update is that players will now be able to record and share 10 second gameplay clips onto their Twitter feeds, while also being able to broadcast live on YouTube. This marks the first time that users are able to broadcast gameplay straight from the Playstation 4.
Their will also reportedly be an entirely new communities section for players to access, supposedly allowing players with similar interests to meet online. Players will also now be able to post comments in the “What’s New” feed, while there will also be layout redesigns in areas such as Messages.
This is all just according to the beta testers who had access to the update early, however. Sony has yet to officially state what will be in the update, or when it will be available to all Playstation 4 owners worldwide.
