Developer Moon Studio and Microsoft have revealed that Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition will be releasing for Xbox One, Windows 10 and Steam later this year.
Details on the re-release of the critically acclaimed platformer are scarce at the moment, however Moon Studio has stated that the Definitive Edition will be the “ultimate version of Ori.”
The new edition of the game has many new features different from the original, including new areas, mechanics, artworks and possibly even new abilities. Moon Studio has stated that the new additions are a response to fan feedback, requesting extra content for the game.
Ori and the Blind Forest was released in Spring of this year to universal critical acclaim, with the developer soon after revealing that it became profitable after just one week on sale.
