Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has announced that players can expect an ‘interim’ patch for the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight in August.
In a post on the game’s Steam page, Warner stated “Rocksteady, and our partners are targeting an interim patch update for existing players to be released in August.” Details on the patch weren’t announced, although Warner stated it would deal with many of the issues mentioned in a separate post from late June.
The previously mentioned post referred heavily to the reduced frame rate players were experiencing, and also a bug that would disable textures, such as the rain on Batman’s cape. It was previously reported that Australian company EB Games was recalling copies of Arkham Knight on PC, due to the fact that no update was expected until September.
“We would like to thank you for your continued patience and invaluable feedback” the new post from Warner Bros. reads. “We are continuing to monitor and listen for any additional issues and are driving towards a full update for everyone as quickly as we can.”
