According to a new release from Australian company EB Games, new patches for Batman: Arkham Knight on the PC will not be available till September.
Kotaku Australia has reported the findings, which claim that documents sent to EB Games from Warner Bros. have indicated that a significant patch for the PC version of Arkham Knight will not be available till Spring in Australia, which is September at the earliest for North America and Europe.
“As previously advised, we have stopped sales of Batman: Arkham Knight PC while Warner and Rocksteady work on addressing performance issues within the game” the documents sent to EB Games supposedly state. “The latest update from Warner is that the updates won’t be available till Spring.”
Neither Warner Bros. or developer Rocksteady have stated a specific date for updates to be released for Batman: Arkham Knight on PC. It’s common for publishers to provide placeholder dates for upcoming releases, whether it be a physical release or an update, and so this could be Warner merely setting itself a goal to reach.
