2K has today announced that Evolve will be getting a second season pass, which will be available on June 23rd on multiple platforms.
The content that the season pass will also be providing was detailed by publisher 2K, with four new hunters and a new class of monster supposedly being available through the season pass. The first hunter available at the launch of the season pass is named Lennox, the new assault class with a devastating melee attack.
During this years Annual Technology Media and Telecom Conference, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick stated that Evolve is now considered a future IP for the company, alongside Borderlands, Red Dead Redemption and Grand Theft Auto. Zelnick also announced that Evolve had surpassed 2.5 million global sales.
This is obviously a move by Take-Two to extent the life of Evolve by piling on new content for players to return to, and the season pass will be available tomorrow on June 23rd, with the additional content hopefully arriving shortly after.
