The long-rumoured remaster of the Gears of War trilogy may have just been leaked by The Coalition, and looks set for release this summer.
The Coalition, until recently known as Black Tusk, was speculated to have been working on a remaster for the Gears of War trilogy, or at the very least a remaster of the first game in the series. The studio itself appears to have leaked the information via a recently published website for the Gears of War series, a screenshot of which you can see below.
The screenshot, originally translated from the Russian version of the website, notes certain features for the remastered versions of the series, including; the adaptation for 7.1 surround sound, up to 90 minutes extra of gameplay, 60FPS, dedicated online servers and game modes indluding ‘King of the Hill’.
The website also has a release date listed for the product, that being August 25th of this year. Being so soon, an announcement of sorts should be expected at Microsoft’s E3 presentation tomorrow, on June 15th.
