Square Enix has announced that the world gameplay reveal for the upcoming Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is set for later this month at E3.
The announcement was made via Square Enix’s Twitter account, saying “Watch the Deus Ex: Manking Divided in-game reveal on June 16th at the E3 Square Enix conference” along with the hashtag ‘#cantkillprogress’
The publisher announced the game back in April, as the sequel to the previous Deus Ex game, Human Revolution, and revealed that it would be set two years after the events of the previous game. A cinematic trailer accompanied the initial announcement, but now fans will be able to see gameplay for the first time.
As the trailer showed and the title suggests, the game will focus heavily on the battles between people with augmentations and those without. Similar themes of persecution have recently taken a hold in videogames, with the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt making it one of the key points in the game’s universe.
There’s still no release date attached to Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, and this could be something Square Enix annonunce at E3. However we do know the game will come to PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One.
