An upcoming patch for Destiny will increase vault capacity for armours and items for players, but will require a compromise from the older generation of consoles.
The patch is 1.1.2, and will increase vault capacity for all players for armours and other items to 24 slots, and weapons slots specifically to 36 slots. Developer Bungie was originally unable to put out the patch, as it required some compromise from the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game.
However now the developer has decided to go ahead with the Destiny patch regardless of technical sacrifice on the older generation of consoles. Despite getting the storage upgrade, players on the PS3 and Xbox 360 will now be unable to do the comparison ability for their weapons, armour and other items.
The patch, 1.1.2., will hit in April, before the planned House of Wolves DLC expansion. The patch will also bring audio and general bug fixes with it.
